Flood Relief in Buner

When devastating floods struck the Buner region, the Foundation — in collaboration with Aiwan-e-Tijarat Oghi — mobilised quickly to reach families who had lost their homes and belongings. Our team visited the affected areas and distributed PKR 750,000 in the form of cash and cheques to the most deserving households, helping them recover essentials and restore stability during a difficult time.

When record monsoon rains triggered flash floods across Buner, dozens of families lost their homes, crops and belongings almost overnight. Our team travelled to the affected areas to assess the damage and identify the households most in need of urgent help.

This emergency response was carried out in collaboration with Aiwan-e-Tijarat Oghi. Working openly with the local community, the joint team distributed PKR 750,000 in the form of cash and cheques directly to deserving families — allowing each household to meet its most pressing needs with dignity and without delay.

By trusting families to prioritise what mattered most to them, whether repairing a damaged roof before winter or replacing tools to return to work, the relief effort restored not just belongings but a sense of stability and hope.
